Welcome to the Faith in Action blog site! We want to use this as a resource especially to focus on exactly that – how do we put our faith into action, serving our Lord and one another as “doers of the word and not hearers only” (James 1:22). We will also offer occasional commentary on Christianity in general, things Anglican and how they both relate in contemporary culture.
Here is an interview with our bishop, John Guernsey. It lasts about 20 minutes – please watch and notice the number of times he mentions Jesus Christ, evangelism, discipleship, and prayer. It is so refreshing to hear a bishop, to have a bishop, who puts so little emphasis and effort into the preservation of an institution but rather in spreading the Good News of Christ Jesus our Lord!
